Thank you for your feedback regarding our facility and your concern about whether any of our products are manufactured or processed in a facility that handles tree nuts.
The Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) mandates that the presence of any of the eight major food allergens (known as the ""Big Eight"": Milk, Egg, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Wheat, Peanuts, and Soybeans) must be declared on the ingredient list.
Mike genuinely cares about the safety of individuals with sensitivities and allergies. Precautionary labeling, such as ""may contain,"" is a voluntary practice, not required by federal regulations. As we are a small facility with limited storage space, we cannot fully segregate all ingredients. As a result, Mike has chosen to use precautionary labeling on all of our products.
We follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to thoroughly clean our equipment and take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination. However, due to the nature of our operations, we cannot guarantee 100% protection against cross-contamination.
