On behalf of Mike Adams and our store, we did conduct thorough and reliable testing on these filters for heavy metal filtration back in 2014. We stand behind those results. However, it’s important to note that we did not perform ""stamina"" testing at that time. Our testing was focused on assessing filter performance in its new configuration, and after that, we selected Berkey as one of the brands we would carry based on those results.
Mike is also interested in conducting a longevity test for 1,000+ gallons, and we plan to work toward that goal. Please note, as this is a gravity filter system, the filtration process takes longer compared to mechanical systems, so this will take some time.
