As per Product Specialist, while there are no ingredients within their probiotic formulas that would be unsuitable or dangerous for pets, they were not formulated or tested for efficacy with the GI tracts of animals in mind; pH range, probiotic strains, and general biome would all have to be factored in. Utilizing a formula that was developed specifically for the animals, not humans, would give much better results.
